Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst in the Omnichannel Analytics team, your key responsibilities include:
- Develop statistical tabulations, custom tools, and applications using Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python. careers.indegene.com
- Write SQL queries to extract, merge, and prepare both aggregated and granular datasets for analytics & reporting. careers.indegene.com
- Create and review dashboards and reports as per client or stakeholder needs. careers.indegene.com
- Perform data processing, advanced statistical analysis, and modeling using Python. careers.indegene.com
- Provide insights: translate business questions into analytics problems, test hypotheses, and derive actionable recommendations. careers.indegene.com
- Engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, present results, and own projects end-to-end. careers.indegene.com
- Conduct market research (desk research) and support decision-making across therapy areas, channels, and product life cycles. careers.indegene.com
- Use forecasting techniques (especially in pharma domain) and communicate forecast drivers to stakeholders. careers.indegene.com
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
Education / Background
- BTech + MBA / MTech OR MPharm / PharmD with analytics certifications careers.indegene.com
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years in analytics / data roles careers.indegene.com
- Experience in pharma / life sciences / healthcare analytics is a strong plus careers.indegene.com
Technical Skills & Tools
- SQL & relational databases
- Python (for data analysis, modeling)
- Excel & VBA
- Statistical analysis, forecasting
- Dashboarding / data visualization
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder handling skills
What’s “Good to Have”
- Experience in pharma analytics
- Exposure to forecasting techniques (product demand, market trends)
