Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers supporting SAP applications.
- Manage server uptime, patches, and OS-level security compliance.
- Troubleshoot SAP system connectivity, performance, and kernel issues.
- Monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Grafana, etc.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting / Python.
- Coordinate with SAP Basis, Cloud, and Network teams for deployments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Linux administration (preferably in enterprise environments).
- Hands-on with RHEL, SUSE Linux, and OS patch management.
- Understanding of SAP Basis, DB connectivity, and backup systems.
- Experience with shell scripting / Python preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
