Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
- Automate test suites using Python, Selenium, or similar tools
- Test RESTful APIs, microservices, and UI components
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests
- Report defects, track issues, and retest resolved bugs
- Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and early design discussions
- Ensure test coverage, performance, usability, and security standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical field
- Proven experience as QA Engineer, Test Engineer, or a similar role
- Strong scripting / programming skill (e.g. Python)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
- Familiarity with API / REST testing, tools like Postman, REST Assured
- Understanding of software development processes, version control (Git), CI/CD
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills
