Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Python Backend Developer at PureSoftware, you may be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining backend services / APIs using Python and web frameworks like Django or Flask. Recruit.net+2Weekday Jobs+2
- Designing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend or client applications. Recruit.net
- Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) — writing efficient queries, schema design, optimizations. Recruit.net
- Version control using Git/GitHub and collaborating in team codebases. Recruit.net
- (Preferred) Use of containerization / Docker, cloud deployment knowledge or microservices architecture. Recruit.net
- Debugging, testing, code reviews, and contributing to best practices in backend development.
Because it’s a 1–3 year role, you’ll likely take more ownership of modules, performance improvements, and may mentor juniors or assist in design decisions.
Required / Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of backend development experience with Python / Django / web technologies
Technical Skills / Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Python and web frameworks (Django / Flask) Recruit.net+1
