NIQ (NielsenIQ), a global leader in consumer and retail data analytics, is hiring freshers for the Analyst – Data Operations role. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about analytics, data processing, reporting, and business insights.
As an Analyst, you will support NIQ’s global clients by processing large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting in delivering analytical reporting.
About the Role
As an Analyst – Data Operations, you will be responsible for data processing, quality checks, and generating structured outputs for internal teams and external clients. You’ll work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to support retail, FMCG, and consumer insights operations.
This role provides a strong foundation for careers in analytics, data operations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, validate, and transform datasets
- Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy
- Identify data anomalies and resolve inconsistencies
- Work on dashboards, reports, and dataset modeling
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely delivery
- Document workflows and maintain operational standards
Eligibility Criteria
- Good analytical and numerical ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Basic understanding of data tools or SQL (preferred but not mandatory)
- Confidence in working with spreadsheets and databases
Skills Required
- MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleaning)
- SQL basics or data querying skills
- Problem-solving & logical reasoning
- Communication skills for global collaboration
