By joining Syngenta Global’s Analytics & Data Sciences team in Hyderabad, you’ll work at the intersection of data, technology and real-world impact—leveraging analytics to help shape business decisions and sustainable outcomes.
Role & Key Responsibilities
- Extract, prepare and analyse large datasets from multiple sources to derive business insights and build data-driven decision support.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models (machine learning, statistical modelling) to address business challenges in the agriculture/tech domain.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through dashboards, visualisations and story-telling using tools like Python, R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, operations, technology) to translate analytics into actionable solutions.
- Continuously monitor model performance, refine algorithms, and ensure robust, scalable data solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience (including internships, academic projects) in analytics/data science.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, proficiency in SQL for data extraction/manipulation.
- Experience or interest in machine learning, statistical modelling, data visualisation tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Good communication skills and ability to translate technical insights into non-technical business context.
- Willingness to be based in Hyderabad and engage in analytics projects that support global business functions.
