Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data
- Build and optimize data workflows, data models, and storage solutions
- Work with large datasets and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to support analytics and reporting
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune performance of data systems
- Write clean, modular, and testable code (Python / SQL / other relevant languages)
- Document pipeline logic, data lineage, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 0 to 1 year of experience (freshers welcomed)
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
- Proficiency in a scripting / programming language (Python, Scala, etc.)
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and data workflows
- Familiarity with data storage technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL)
- Basic knowledge of big data / distributed systems, if available
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication ability
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership
