Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist in CRISIL’s Mumbai office, your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical algorithms
- Working with structured and unstructured data sets (financial data, time series, texts, etc.)
- Feature engineering, data cleaning, preprocessing, dimensionality reduction
- Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA), hypothesis testing, clustering, regression, classification
- Validating and optimizing model performance, hyperparameter tuning
- Interpreting model outputs and building dashboards / reports for stakeholders
- Collaborating with domain experts, product teams, risk teams, and software engineers
- Staying abreast of latest developments in AI / ML / data science, and applying innovations to business challenges
Required / Preferred Skills & Qualifications
