Role & Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in building and maintaining data pipelines, performing ETL/ELT tasks and preparing datasets for modelling.
- Assist in developing data science models: feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Use statistical and machine learning techniques to derive insights and support business decision-making.
- Work with technologies like Python, SQL, R, data visualisation tools and help build dashboards or reports.
- Support data cleansing, data governance, quality assurance and documentation of data workflows.
- Learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks under mentorship.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
- Freshers or up to 1 year of experience (including academic projects / internships).
- Proficiency in programming (Python, R or similar) and working knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, basic statistics, and interest in data modelling.
- Analytical mindset with good communication & teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt quickly and work across Pune / Mumbai / remote setups.
