Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript
- Integrate with databases, external APIs, and third-party services
- Write modular, maintainable, testable code
- Debug issues, optimize performance, and monitor applications
- Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and operations teams
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and maintain coding standards
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 0 to 4 years of experience (freshers with relevant projects / internships welcome)
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and asynchronous programming
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of version control (Git), deployment, and basic DevOps is a plus
- Problem-solving mindset, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn
